Victory and title for Toni Ariete with the BRC B49

Toni Ariete rounded off his magnificent season of 2017 at the wheel of the BRC B49, achieving Sunday the 19th of November the absolute victory in the climb to Utiel. With this triumph, Toni was proclaimed Mountain Champion of the Community of Valencia, title that together with the Open Levante de Montaña and the third position in the category 1 of the Championship of Spain complete his excellent harvest of successes throughout this year .

In Utiel, Ariete set the fastest time of all the participants in the first of the two official climbs, stopping the time in 2: 41.980. A record that was enough to ensure victory even without completing the second career climb, which was interrupted in its final part by the heavy accident of the Lamborghini Huracan of the Asturian Fombona.

In the final classification of Utiel, Ariete finished first with his BRC B49 ahead of the Speed ​​Car piloted by Nacho Aviñó, and Subaru Impreza WRC of Andorran Gerard De la Casa, who won the category of bodywork.
